ThaliFit is a personal calorie and nutrition tracker. This policy explains what happens to your information — and the short version is: your data stays on your device.

What we store, and where

Everything you enter in ThaliFit — your food logs, weight entries, profile details (name, age, height, weight, diet and cuisine preferences), and daily targets — is stored only in your phone's local browser storage, on your device. There is no ThaliFit server, no user account, and no central database. We cannot see, access, or recover your data. If you use the in-app "Backup my data" feature, the backup file is saved to your own device and remains under your control.

The AI features

ThaliFit has optional AI features (meal logging by description, and personalized plans). When you use them, the specific text you type (for example, "2 dosas with coffee") or the profile numbers needed to build a plan (age, height, weight, activity level, diet, goals) are sent over an encrypted connection to a processing service (Cloudflare Workers) which relays them to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the response. This information is used only to answer your request in the moment. ThaliFit does not store it on any server, does not attach your identity to it, and does not use it for advertising or tracking. What we do NOT do

• No accounts, sign-ins, or passwords
• No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs
• No selling, sharing, or monetizing of any data
• No access to your contacts, photos, location, or other phone data

Deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting it is entirely in your hands: clear the app's site data in your browser settings, or uninstall the app. That removes everything permanently — there is no server-side copy to request deletion of.

Children

ThaliFit is intended for adults managing their own nutrition and is not directed at children under 13.
